How to Make a Turkey Craft
A few stamped leaves, a small box, and coordinating fall colors are all you need to create this cute turkey craft. Gather the supplies below, then follow the instructions to put it together.
Supplies
- Paper trimmer
- Autumn Fields Two-Tone Cardstock
- Simply Leaves Bundle
- Ink in Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Golden Glow, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, and Pecan Pie
- Thanks & Giving Stamp Set
- Advent Treat Boxes
- Liquid glue
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Using a paper trimmer, cut the cardstock into 2-inch (5 cm) strips, slightly wider than the leaf stamps.
2. Use ink colors that coordinate with your cardstock to stamp different leaf designs in a line onto the lighter side of the cardstock strips. Be sure to leave some space between each one!
3. Punch out the stamped leaves using the leaf punch. Crumple the leaves gently and unfold them. This is a great way to add some texture to your craft!
Stamp the front of the box with a Thanksgiving sentiment from the Thanks & Giving Stamp Set (or write people’s names if you’re using this turkey craft as a Thanksgiving place card), then assemble the box.
4. Layer and adhere the leaves together with liquid glue, then attach the whole thing to the back of the box.
